For those of you who are local, you know how frightening the storms were on Tuesday, April 29th.
Many were without power for a day or two. Electricity to the chapel was still out yesterday afternoon
when the above photos were taken. The only apparent damage to the cemetery so far was to our
beloved old trees, which, like the broken, fallen limbs and branches, breaks our hearts, too. The chapel
and other buildings are fine. And, other than a couple of already precariously leaning headstones in the
Old Part that the storm pushed on over, no other damage to headstones has been found.
